Refund Policy

At Junk Be Gone, we strive to provide excellent service to our neighbors in Saint Johns, FL. Because our business involves scheduling specialized labor and heavy equipment, we have established the following policy regarding refunds and cancellations.

1. Junk Removal Services

Completed Services: Once items have been loaded into our trucks and the service is completed, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds for labor or disposal fees once the work is performed and the customer has approved the on-site estimate.
Service Disputes: If you are dissatisfied with the quality of our work, please notify the on-site crew leader immediately or contact our office within 24 hours of service. We will make every effort to resolve the issue, which may include returning to the site to complete the job to your satisfaction.

2. Document Shredding

One-Time Shredding: Once documents have been shredded and a Certificate of Destruction has been issued, the service is considered complete and non-refundable.
Mobile/Off-Site Scheduling: Cancellations for scheduled shredding pick-ups must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a service call fee.

3. Deposits

In certain cases (such as large-scale commercial cleanouts or light demolition), a deposit may be required to secure your date on our calendar.

Refundable Deposits: Deposits are fully refundable if the project is canceled with at least 48 hours' notice.
Non-Refundable Deposits: Deposits may become non-refundable if the project is canceled with less than 48 hours' notice, as this prevents us from booking other customers for that time slot.

4. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved by management:

Credit Card Payments: Refunds will be issued to the original credit card used for the purchase. Please allow 5–10 business days for the credit to appear on your statement.
Cash Payments: For services paid in cash, a refund check will be mailed to the customer’s address within 7 business days.
