Welcome to Junk Be Gone (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website junkbegone.biz, requesting an estimate, or booking our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

Junk Be Gone provides professional waste management services in Saint Johns, FL, including:

  • Full-Service Junk Removal: Labor-inclusive removal of unwanted items.

  • Light Demolition: Removal of sheds, decks, and small structures.

2. Estimates and Pricing

  • Junk Removal: Estimates provided over the phone or online are non-binding ranges. A final, "concrete" quote will be provided on-site once our team assesses the volume of the items ("load of the truck"). Our minimum charge for junk removal is $100.

  • Taxes and Fees: Prices are subject to applicable state and local taxes. Trip fees may apply for locations more than 30 miles outside of Saint Johns, FL.

3. Prohibited Items (Hazardous Materials)

We are not licensed to carry hazardous materials. You agree not to include the following in any junk removal:

  • Paint, thinners, or strippers.

  • Pesticides, herbicides, or chemicals.

  • Medical or biological waste (including feces).

  • Asbestos.

  • Gasoline, oil, or propane tanks.

  • Any other materials classified as "hazardous" by local, state, or federal law.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Access: You must provide clear and safe access to the items or the dumpster placement area.

  • Preparation: For junk removal, all appliances (fridges/freezers) must be emptied. Water and gas lines must be disconnected by the customer prior to our arrival.​

5. Scheduling and Cancellations

  • Cancellations: We request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Cancellations made within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee.

  • Unattended Jobs: We prefer customers to be on-site. If you cannot be present, we require a credit card on file and a phone number where you can be reached to approve the on-site estimate.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept:

  • Cash

  • Major Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)

7. Limitation of Liability

Junk Be Gone is fully licensed and insured. However, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We reserve the right to refuse any job that poses a safety risk to our crew or a liability risk to the company.

8. SMS and Communication

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive communications regarding your service, including appointment reminders and "on our way" text messages. You may opt out at any time by replying "STOP."

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Saint Johns County, FL.
